1/22/2008 感谢 神，终于有自己的车了。在达城这种公共交通不发达的城市，汽车真是太重要了。没想到我的第一辆车还是一辆Beemer（BMW），虽然旧了点，但是车况良好。It's awesome！传几张小铁驴的亮照，大伙上眼。
12/20/2007 聖誕節，或曰耶誕節，基督教慶聖子耶穌基督降生之節也。節期公曆十二月廿五日，基督教會多禮拜於前夕，是稱平安夜，次日則慶祝。然基督教一大分支東正教定節公曆一月七日。福音書載，耶穌母馬利亞受感得孕，生之於伯利恆，時彼與夫約瑟往登籍途中。按其教之說，耶穌乃猶太教預言之彌賽亞，蓋伯利恆即大衛王之鄉，與預言合焉。聖誕節一名，可見唐《大秦景教流行中國碑頌》，其云「室女誕聖於大秦」，即斯之謂也。

北京，中華人民共和國之京也，亦為其直轄市。方一萬六千八百公里，口千四百九十三萬有奇。建城凡三千餘年，為都亦八百餘年，乃文史名城，與南京、洛陽、西安齊名。
北京古稱薊，為燕都。秦為廣陽郡，漢屬幽州，亦為廣陽國都。魏複為廣陽郡治，西晉時為燕國都，東晉至北周為燕郡。隋大業三年改涿郡。唐武德年間複稱幽州，後屬範陽節度使。安史之亂時為偽都。五代劉仁恭亦僭號於此，為後唐所滅。入遼稱南京析津府，金海陵王亮遷都至此，易名為中都。元至元九年複更名大都。
有明乃興，以應天為京師，更大都為北平府，燕王棣藩國在茲。洎燕王興兵靖難，旋以北平為行在、北京，永樂十九年後稱京師順天府。有清定鼎中原，亦定都於此。
民國始創，亦以北京為國都，稱京兆地方，至民國十七年複易名「北平」。民國廿六年罹倭難。民國三十四年光復，奈中國又遭國共內戰之劫，太平實未臨於社稷矣。歷四年之干戈，民國三十八年，中國國民黨退守台灣，中國共產黨得大陸，立國曰中華人民共和國，都北平，復而易名北京也。

2/24/2007 "钩尾巴"(它跑的时候老是翘着尾巴,做潜水镜壮)来我家已经三个月了,现在还能回想起当初它坐在街边,无助地冲着我叫的样子,简直就是一只小灰猫.Dude, it was way dirty. 当时也没想太多,就把它抱回家了.当时体重是0.7Kg.当然第一件事就是洗一个澡,后来才知道它这么怕水,把我手上胳膊上抓了好几条血道子,后来还花了三百多块钱打的狂犬疫苗...

在第一次背单词的时候，为自己定下的记忆标准一定不能太高。GRE和GMAT的考生而言，前两者（拼写和发音）根本没有必要完全记住，有模糊记忆即可，因为这两种考试对单词的考察标准只是再认而已
背词者根本不必去研究其准确的拼写和发音，而应该把自己的记忆标准定位于再认（识别）。至于英文释义，笔者认为一定要看，但是在一个大的背词周期结束以前（约一个月左右），除非是对这个单词的中文释义不理解，否则不适合去研究。
初记单词时需要记忆的内容是：1单词的外观特征，达到能够识别此单词即可。比如单词的长短，起始字母，特征（如中间有两个元音ee）等等。2单词的中文释义。3单词的记忆法。这是红宝书中极其有价值的一个部分，可以大幅度地提高学习者地记忆效率。尤其是词根，词缀记忆法和比较记忆法，能够迅速扩大读者的单词量，起到让记忆者触类旁通，举一反三的作用。至于例句，读者可以根据自己的实际情况决定看与不看。
以这样的标准第一遍背一页红宝书单词（10个）需要5分钟。这时第一个记忆周期已到，请读者在背下一页前，立即返回第一个单词，把这10个单词迅速复习一遍。用这种方法背过6页以后，第二个记忆周期（30分钟）已到，立即从第一页开始复习。整个List大约一个小时。到了晚上，也就是背过单词的12个小时之后，到了第三个记忆周期，一定要复习今天新背过的单词。这一遍复习只需要第一遍背单词的不到三分之一的时间，即每个List小于或等于20分钟，3个List在50～60分钟之间，注意请读者把这一遍复习的顺序与早晨初背的顺序作一个调换，如早晨的顺序是List1，List2，List3，则这一遍请调整为List2，List3，List1。
注意事项：
第一：记住一点，那就是复习比背新词重要。如果时间实在安排不开，宁可不背新词，但是一定要完成复习的任务。
第二：背新单词最好安排在早晨或是中午，以便在12小时后的晚上作复习。在两天以上的复习周期中，不必拘泥于复习单词的时间到底是在早晨还是在晚上。
第三：在背单词的过程中，一定要发挥主观能动性，勤于思考，勤于比较，多多使用，努力增加对单词的思维过程，一次来给单词赋予更多的意义。前面讲过，一个人对于有意义的材料的记忆程度要远远超过无意义的材料，所以请读者尽量避免作机械记忆。笔者当初背词之时，不管是眼中所见，耳中所闻，还是心中所想，都习惯性的去想有没有相应的GRE词汇，其同意词和反义词是什么，这在很大程度上增加了对单词的记忆时间以及记忆程度。
第四：任何人背单词，肯定都存在一定比例的单词是他难记住的。背词者对于这些单词重复的遍数一定要超过其他单词，请找个小本记录下来放在兜里，一有空就拿出来背一背。还有一个比较好的方法是在书上背不下来的单词左边做个星号，每次复习时加以重点记忆，别的单词背一遍，它背两遍作重点复习。而随着复习的遍数的增多，有一些单词旁边的星号会比较多，三星以上的单词就一定时对于你来讲特别难背的单词了，更要收集起来反复的背。
第五：17天之后，就可以开始作题了。背单词的最好方法就是与作题结合起来，通过在实战中反复遇到这些单词，可以大大加快对于单词的反应速度和理解深度。
第六：单词一天不背就会忘，一个月不背就会前功尽弃。请坚持每天45分钟左右的时间复习3个List，可保无忧。这时学习者应该开始把注意力集中到看这些单词的英文释义和例句了。
第七：每次复习的方法都应该是只看英文单词，遮住中文释义，想这个单词的意思。如果你想不出来或是想错了就意味着这个单词没记住，需要重点记忆。在每一次复习的时候，切切不可放任自己偷懒，即：不遮住中文释义以试图回忆该英文单词的意思，而是简简单单的中，英文又重读一遍，这种复习的方法速度虽快，但是远远达不到笔者所要求的复习效果。
第八：本方法进行到中间阶段地时候，是最为关键也是最为痛苦地时候，极其容易半途而废，请一定咬牙挺过去。如果实在坚持不下去了，就想想：“如果放弃，前面地单词全都白背了，如果还是坚持不住，把一天3个List减少到2个List。还不行，放弃，去睡吧，看你能不能睡着。
从本质上来讲，背单词就是一个与遗忘不断的奋斗的过程，正可谓逆水行舟，不进则退。在这个过程中间决不可放弃，否则一日曝之，十日寒之。

8/30/2006 三十八年一次的润七夕，我也写一写Belog。昨天看了一部叫《袁苇的婚姻》的电视电影，女主角演的还可以，挺像北京妞的。其中有一个情节是她知道了丈夫曾经对初恋情人的海誓山盟，恼火的不得了，责怪他为什么跟她没这么轰轰烈烈，还威胁要离婚，他丈夫觉着她是无理取闹。哈，记得有一句话说的很有道理，女人是属于Venus的，男人则是来自Mars，他们是 两种截然不同的生物。其实，就像电影里他初恋情人说的，男人第一次海誓山盟是发誓，以后的就是表演。其实第一次的含金量也是值得怀疑的，毕竟现在言情的东西这么多。男人说什么都是扯淡，什么事有没有谱要看他做了什么；而女人偏偏要人说给她听。经典镜头是：W：“你爱不爱我嘛？”M心想：“废话，不爱你我闲着没事跟你这儿逗得哪门子咳嗽。”其实，肯花时间和W在一起就是M的行动了，话又说回来，M干嘛又不消的费劲对W去说那几个字呢？
5/23/2006 有一只猴子被耍猴人捉住，十分害怕，以为一切都完了，只等死亡来临。谁知耍猴人不杀他，给他穿上红袍，戴上纱帽，教他抬起前脚直立着走路，又教他坐在椅子上抽旱烟，模仿人的摸样与动作。猴子学了几天全学会了。耍猴人让他骑在羊背上，叫羊驮着他飞跑，猴子很得意；又让他坐在车上，叫狗拖着狂奔，猴子更加得意了，觉得自己比羊和狗都高贵。于是，对他的伙伴羊和狗总是爱理不理的摆出一副惟我独尊的架势。
有一天，耍猴人在城市大街上敲响锣鼓，招引来许多看猴戏的小孩。当猴子戴着纱帽，穿起红袍登场的时候，孩子们哄笑起来："官老爷来了，官老爷来了！"猴子听见，更是万分得意，好象他真是一员大官了，拿起鞭子在他的伙伴身上狠狠的抽打着。忘记了自己与羊和狗一样，同是耍猴人的奴隶呀! 1. You are not a superman.

那么你们说，男人白天奔波，夜里操劳为的啥？还不是直接或是间接，有意或是无意的，为他们梦想的，但是现实中还没有的，或者是他梦想的而且已经在现实中找到的，或是他梦想的而且也已经在现实中找到的，但是与他的梦想不一样的，或是不知道在哪里，存不存在，漂不漂亮的女孩子或女人，可以吃得更好，穿得更好，睡得更好，走得更少，住得更宽敞吗？
有的时候你喜欢一个东西，但你就是想不起来它的样子，

1/4/2006 We both had done the math, and... Kelly added it all up. She knew she had to let me go. I add it up knew that I'd ... I'd lost her. ‘Cause I was never going to get off that island. I was going to die there, totally alone. I mean, I was going to get sick or I was going to get injured or something. The only choice I had, the only thing I could control...was when and how and where that was going to happen. So...， I made a rope. And I went up to the summit to hang myself. But I had to test it, you know? Of course, you know me. And the weight of the log...snapped the limp of the tree. So I...I...I couldn't even kill myself the way I wanted toil had power over nothing. And that's when this feeling came over me like a warm blanket. I knew...somehow that I had to stay alive. Somehow…I had to keep breathing, even though there was no reason to hope. And all my logic said that I would never see this place again. So that's what I did. I stay alive. I kept breathing. And then one day that logic was proven all wrong, because the tide... came in, gave me a sail. And now, here I am. I have ice in my class. And I lost her all over again. I'm so sad that I don't have Kelly. But I'm so grateful that she was with me on that island. And I know what I have to do now. I get to keep breathing, because tomorrow, the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide could bring?

12/29/2005 I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won’t make you cry.
The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn’t mean they don't love you with all they have.

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful. (my favorite)
